FEDERAL JUDGE AGREES: PA COVID RESTRICTIONS UNCONSTITUTIONAL

Our friend, Joshua Prince, Esq. had a great update regarding a recent federal judge’s ruling on COVID-19 restrictions imposed by Governor Wolf:

“In a decision just issued in County of Butler, et al. v. Governor Wolf, et al., Judge William Stickman, IV of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania has ruled that “(1) the congregate gathering limits imposed by Defendants’ mitigation orders violate the right of assembly enshrined in the First Amendment; (2) that the stay-at-home and business closure components of Defendants’ orders violate the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment; and (3) the business closure components of the Defendants’ orders violate the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.”

We proudly support Joshua Prince, Esq.’s efforts to protect our Second Amendment Rights. Here’s an update from his most recent blog post: “Yesterday, the Commonwealth Court issued a notice scheduling En Banc (meaning before the entire Court) oral argument in Firearm Owners Against Crime (FOAC), et al., v. City of Pittsburgh, et al. in relation to Pittsburgh’s illegal firearm ordinances, which I was previously successful in having ruled unlawful. As our viewers may remember, in November of last year, the City of Pittsburgh took an appeal to that decision.”
